More vouchers to help pay for sporting equipment, uniforms and memberships are on offer for young Victorians to lap up more activity this summer as restrictions continue to ease.

The Victorian Government is backing construction businesses most affected by lockdown restrictions with a $196.6 million package of cash grants for thousands of operators as the industry prepares to reopen next week.

Restrictions on the Victorian construction industry will ease from 11.59pm on Monday, 4 October, with a Construction Sector Roadmap setting a way forward for the sector to stay open and keep our community safe.

Now, with supply of the vaccine finally becoming widely available, we are able to protect all workers who aren’t able to do their essential work from home and protect the roadmap to reopening.

With Victoria having hit its 80 per cent first dose target and the Commonwealth providing assurances on forward vaccine supply, the Victorian Government is now able to shorten the interval between Pfizer doses to reach our double dose targets faster.
