Northern Hospital - New Ambulatory Care Centre

The first stage of construction for the brand-new Ambulatory Care Centre at the Northern Hospital has commenced! I visited the site with Bronwyn Halfpenny MP to see where the early works were underway. This new building will house administration, clinical, and outpatient health services, relocating them from the old hospital and portables on the northern part of the hospital campus. With the demand for healthcare increasing in our Northern Suburbs, the Allan Labor Government has invested $813 million in the Northern Hospital Redevelopment Project. This initiative, part of the Victorian Emergency Department Expansion Program, will deliver a new Ambulatory Care Centre, an Administration Building, a New Emergency Department with expanded capacity, and an expansion of the Inpatient Unit.
