Bunnings Vaccination Pop-Ups Continue To Expand
More Bunnings stores will provide easy access to COVID-19 vaccines for Victorians, with the iconic hardware store today adding five extra pop-up vaccination sites at new locations.
The Bunnings vaccination pop-ups, which kicked off last week in Keysborough, Melton East and Wodonga, focus on a range of outer metropolitan and regional locations – increasing points of access to the vaccine in key Local Government Areas.
From today, pop-ups hosted in store carparks will open at the following Bunnings locations and will be open daily until Sunday, 27 March:
- Mildura – 639-665 Fifteenth Street, 8.00am to 12.00pm
- Craigieburn – 700 Hume Highway, 8.00am to 12.00pm
- Mill Park – 761 Plenty Road, 8.00am to 12.00pm
- Tarneit – 83 Leakes Road, 7.30am to 12.30pm
- Sunshine – 480 Ballarat Road, 7.30am to 12.30pm
Further vaccination pop-ups will open at additional Bunnings stores next week and Victorians 12 and older will be able to attend without a booking to receive their first, second or third dose.
Over the coming weeks, Victoria’s health services will be staging dozens of additional vaccination pop-ups to support outer-suburban, regional and culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
While more than 63 per cent of Victorians over 16 have had a third dose, the figure is lower among people who became eligible more recently – with 42 per cent of people aged 18 to 29 and 53.6 per cent of people in their 30s having received three doses.
