Mill Park residents will have access to an enhanced library experience at the Mill Park Library, thanks to a funding boost from the Andrews Labor Government.

Member for Mill Park Lily D’Ambrosio today joined the Whittlesea City Council and local residents to officially open the revamped Mill Park Library.

The $975,000 project has delivered a newly-created children’s literacy area for parents and children attending story time. The transformation also includes a new outdoor deck and café and more spaces to display library collections, study and work.

Whittlesea City Council received $559,493 from the Andrews Labor Government’s Living Libraries Infrastructure Program, which supports Victorian councils and regional library corporations to deliver new or renewed library facilities for their communities.
